The QC Division of the laboratory offers two categories of testing:

• Verification of active ingredient content of formulated pesticide products as stated on the bottle. This service is supported mainly by the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (i.e. HPLC-UV-MS) and utilizes CIPAC and AOAC methods.
• Monitoring of certain physical-chemical properties such as pH, density, foaming, suspensibility, wettability etc. for several pesticide formulations.

RD aim is to ensure that pesticide residues on crops confirms to the established Maximum Residual Limits. The pesticide residues on crops are mainly determined by Gas Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS).
